As a prime contractor for the Turkish State Airport Authority’s Airport and ATC Modernization Project, Kuanta completed the following work at Esenboga Airport in Ankara, and Ataturk Airport in Istanbul, Turkey:

• Removal of existing VCS and telecommunications infrastructure,
• Design, procurement and installation of new VCS and telecommunications systems,
• Design and renewal of ATC Tower consoles, including VCS,
• Design and construction of new electrical infrastructure to support the systems.

Kuanta completed this challenging project on time without any disruption to ATC and airport operations by coordinating closely with the client, phasing construction, and carefully managing logistics activities. The project’s two-year warranty period ended in 2006 with no major issues reported.
