Kuanta was awarded the contract by USAF ESC/HBAN for the Air Traffic Control and Landing Systems (ATCALS) and Navigational Aids (NAVAIDS) Program for Shindand AB, Afghanistan.

$7,5 million project was an FMS case between USAF and AAF, where Kuanta was the prime contractor providing design, installation and commissioning services.

In short, the Program encompasses the complete design, procurement, manufacture, assemble, installation, calibration, testing, technical support, operation and maintenance support and warranty services for

 ·         Two (2) CAT I ILS/DME systems

·          One (1) VORTAC system

·          One (1) CAT 1 Airfield Lighting (Precision Approach Type 1) System

·          One (1) Airfield Meteorological Observation System (AMOS)

·          Commissioning flight check of all systems including Instrument Approach Procedures
